Description
Willow Tree sculptural art forms beautifully express love, closeness, healing, courage, hope… all the emotions of a life well lived. Artist Susan Lordi hand carves the original of each figure from her studio in Kansas City Missouri. Pieces are cast from her original carvings, and individually painted by hand. Expression is revealed through gestures only… a tilt of the head, placement of the hands, a turn of the body. The simplicity of form and absence of facial features signify Willow Tree. It is Susan’s hope that these pieces be meaningful to both giver and receiver.

She was a beautiful, loving and caring woman and today April 10th was her special day. I have been so blessed to have had the opportunity to meet and enjoy a friendship with a one of a kind beautiful soul. Today I received the Angel of Caring from her very special family in celebration of her birthday. Although she is no longer here on earth with us, she will always be in our hearts. I cherish this token of kindness as a reminder of the many wonderful stories, lessons and celebrations I had with this loving and caring family. The message that came with this beautiful figurine says "I hope this piece has personal meaning just for you...a little reminder...a reflection...a gesture that marks a memory" That it has. Thank you to all of her family.

I am a freshman at Franklin regional high school. We recently experienced a tragedy, a boy brought a knife to school and stabbed 20 people. I'm assuming most people have heard about it. It was all over the news, which was scary. I never thought my school would be on the news for something like that. But I witnessed a lot that day and I've really been struggling. I received this angel from my old neighbors who moved away over the summer. They were like grandparents to me. It shows how much they care and it was so amazing to open the box and see something familiar. My mother has several of the angels already.
