I'm so happy to be one of Willow Tree's family. When I was student at university in the town I'd studied there was a book shop which had these amazing statues.I'd love to be able to afford one but I wasn't because they were expensive and I thought it wasn't necessery to have. But I told myself one day I will buy one! Now I have a permanet job and it was the time to buy one.A few days ago I ordered one and I am so happy to have it.When I look at it I feel a lot of love and peace.I want to put them in my house after I get married to share love and the good feelings from them with my love!

Hi, My most meaningful piece is one of two lovers, the man standing behind the woman with his arms round her. My father suffered from dementia and was wheelchair bound. One day near Valentine's Day I took him out for lunch at a local garden centre whilst my mother had a very rare few hours respite. We had a lovely lunch and then I took him to choose a present for my Mum. There were two possibles - the Promise and Together but I wanted it to be his choice. He pondered for a while and eventually chose 'Together' It was wrapped and we took it home to Mum. She cried when she opened it and treasured it for the rest of her life as she knew the love and care that had gone into choosing it...Ted was Teresa's rock and they had 59 years and 8 children together. I miss them every day but have the beautiful 'Together' to remind me of their love and inspire me in my own marriage!

On the morning of my wedding, my bridesmaids presented me with 'Together'. My husband and I are celebrating our 10th anniversary in December, and each Willow Tree piece in my collection signifies a very precious memory of our journey thus far. However, 'Together' remains my favourite and stands in the middle of the collection because it symbolises our love, our commitment to one another, and the dearest of friends who have stood by my side for 25 years, no matter what.

Our Story of Together & Promise- Loretta Loebs, California Twelve years ago, my husband Tim & I, along with our 3 small children, moved into a rental on the west side of town. Money was tight, but our new little home was full of love. However, after a few weeks, we were all feeling the strain of our most favorite belongings stacked high in cardboard boxes in the garage. Thinking it might brighten our home, I decided to surprise Tim with "Together" that following weekend for our anniversary. I remember my mom watching the kids while I drove home with the familiar brown box tucked securely on the backseat. When I got home, I placed the box on the kitchen counter (away from little hands) and quickly started dinner. I wasn't expecting my husband to get home over an hour early- and when he walked in the door, he spotted the brown Willow Tree box immediately. "How did you find it?" he asked. I couldn't figure out what he was talking about. We didn't own any Willow Tree figurines at the time, and I didn't know if Tim even knew about Willow Tree, let alone be able to recognize the box! "It's my gift to you." I quickly answered back. With a puzzled look, he headed to the garage, and came back in holding another Willow Tree box! You can't imagine how shocked we both were as we fell on the hallway floor, in front of my mom and our kids, each opening the other's gift! I bought Tim "Together", he bought me "Promise". Both figures, although a little different, represent our commitment and love to each other that is still stronger than ever 13 years later. Those two Willow Tree gifts started a beautiful tradition in our home. Now we are owners of a family of Willow Trees displayed proudly as you enter- reminding us that love between family and friends holds no bounds. Thank you for reading and have a beautiful day!

Ruben and I were best friends in high school. After graduation I had gotten pregnant, got married and moved away. Ruben went his way as well and our lives took separate paths. We hadn't stayed in touch in over 30 plus years. Facebook connected us on January 25th of 2013. Since that night it's been a magical ride of complete and utter love. We are each other's best friend and not a day goes by that we don't thank each other for each other. Ruben had been married and had a daughter, I got married as well and raised a daughter. Circumstances within our personal lives changed the course of what was yet to come. We are now in our fifties! We take each day as a blessing that a higher power brought our hearts together to cherish, respect, take care of each other and most of all love one another as only we can. This Willow tree piece I bought for our Valentine's day completely shows a gesture we so often express with each other. Ruben hugs me from behind, puts his arms around me, with one arm I embrace his and as he bows his head down and leans on my shoulder I run my arm through the back of his head. Your piece describes that moment we so often share together. We are each other's lives and the love of a lifetime. He is my heart and soul and I and I am his heart and soul!! Thank you Willow Tree.

Today I bought the "Together" piece as it is a very significant day--47 years ago today I went on a first date (he was 18 & I was 17), we were subsequently married 2 years later but divorced after 5 years. It would have been our 45th wedding anniversary this October. It is hard to believe but we have found our way back to each other after all this time and life is wonderful. "Being someone's first love may be great but to be their last is beyond perfect." Thank you for the beautiful figurine, it will hold pride of place as it is so appropriate. I have 3 others that are very special as well.

Willow Tree Figurines have always been so beautiful to me. My first Willow Tree (Promise) was an engagement gift from a friend. This particular Willow Tree is the second one I've received, and is important to me because it was given to me from my husband, just before he deployed to Afghanistan. At that time, it served as a reminder that no matter how far apart we might have been physically, we were always "together" in heart. Now as my husband's Marine Corps service is coming to an end, this piece sits in our bedroom and reminds me of everything we've been through together, and makes me look forward to everything we will go through together in the future.

I have had a few pieces for 5-6 years. When I turned 60 in 2010 my husband bought me the Nativity Set for my birthday. After almost 44 years together he passed away last spring, just a month before our 44th anniversary. When our daughter was at the house helping me go through all the paperwork I needed to find, she looked in her father's closet and found a box from Willow Tree. When she brought it down to me I fell apart. We had looked at that piece around Christmas and he knew I really liked it. Every year for Christmas I got a new piece for the Nativity and it is almost complete. I can only guess he bought it for our anniversary. It is my most cherished piece. thank you for making it. This sculpture signifies how important it is to hang onto true love when you find it, to never take it for granted. The love of my life was out of my life for over 20 years. He is getting this beautiful gift as a reminder to never forget how important and precious and fragile love can be. In a blink of an eye it can be gone and very seldom does it come back around again to be given a second chance, to begin anew.

The last 3.5 months were the most difficult ones in my life! In November 2012 I met someone, the one who changed my life completely. I was looking for a new partner for dancing lessons and a friend of mine introduced me his colleague. It started as a normal chat-relation but from the first, he seemed so likable. We met each other, and from the first moment we looked at each other, it was pure magic! We talked and laughed a lot and it seemed like the beginning of a new great friendship. But it wasn't; it was so much more. The most complicated thing in our relationship was that I already had a boyfriend for 2,5 years. And these 2,5 years were the most beautiful years of my life. But as the time went on, I realized that my feelings were too strong to ignore them. It was such a hard time. Every one of us three suffered. At least my boyfriend and I broke up peacefully because we both realized that it was for the best. During that time so many things had happened: that "new guy" and I danced a lot, laughed and spent so much lucky time together and then, one evening I found this wonderful piece of art. I showed it to him and he was very excited. The slogan "For those who have found their true partner in love and life"--it was so true! And today, everything's clear and these figures will soon complete our story. We had a very hard start but we know that we're going to have such a great future. And for us, these figures tell our story and show the moment we found each other.

I received this piece for Christmas this year from my boyfriend of six months, which sounds very ordinary; however, he is the most amazing man I have ever met and this piece has more meaning than any gift I have ever received. We are both divorced and found each other by a fluke circumstance. He came into the relationship believing it would only last a short time and then I would move on to date another person and I came into the relationship believing it would just be another "run of the mill" man to spend time with and only intended on being friends and NOT falling in love. How wrong we both were! Within a matter of weeks it became evident how much we loved each other and early discussions about what our future looked like started happening almost immediately. Six months and many great memories later I realize this man is my soul mate and the one I am to spend eternity with. Each time I look at this piece I am reminded of our wonderful relationship and how thoughtful a person he is. He has no idea what this piece symbolizes for me and how much I adore it. To me, it is more precious than all the gemstones in the world and I love it.

My partner and I received our first Willow Tree Piece on September 22nd 2012, the day after we arrived back from 3 weeks of travelling around Europe together. It was our very first holiday abroad together and the first time either of us had done anything as adventurous as that - we visited 10 countries in that time. It was so fast paced and every moment was amazing. Even more special than all of that, though, was the day we left for Paris (our first destination on our big adventure). We were catching a very early morning flight and so arrived at the airport at 3am to check in. As we were heading for the check-in desk, my boyfriend kissed me and got down on one knee in the middle of the airport. He proposed to me on 1st September 2012, and this Willow Tree piece was a gift from my grandparents for both us, to say congratulations! As we are both studying still now, him for a PhD and me for my teaching qualification, we are holding off the wedding until we finish, but neither of us can wait and hope to add more of these pieces then and beyond!

Now, I continue the tradition as a newlywed and a soldier's wife. This Christmas, I bought my husband "Together." The look on his face when he opened it (early, because I just couldn't wait) was stunning. It now sits proudly on the shelf with my 16 other Willow Trees, and I am hoping to add more to the collection as the years fly by. To my husband, I love you with all of my heart! You are my everything and I am so proud of everything that you do for me and everyone else! Even when you are deployed, we are still together and nothing will ever change that! I love you!

My husband and I started collecting when we were given “Together” for our wedding. I was addicted after that. We have one for every change in our family. In April of this year we adopted a three-year-old daughter from China. I have two biological sons too and I wanted my figurine for her to have black hair so it truly symbolized her in our family of Willow Trees. I bought “Child of my Heart” and with a little black paint that toddler looks just like a three-year-old Chinese girl with the short hair she had. Shortly after that we bought the “Brothers” and “Miss You." I removed the balloon and painted her hair. When I put the two together they are perfect size for my little family. Isaac is six, Kodiak four, and Ying Ying three. How perfect they set the stage of my family. I can’t even help looking so far into the future when my children are teens and what figurines I will buy to represent the changes in their lives. I adore all the little angel sets and although I am not wanting the “angels," I am having so much fun figuring out how to mix and match the pieces to fit my family and myself perfectly!!! THANK YOU

My husband of 22 years has always been the rock in our family, raising three boys who adore him, and now helping our oldest son with our three granddaughters who think their K-pa hung the moon. My husband was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 bladder cancer that has already metastasized to the lung and brain. His biggest concern is that he will die one day when he is all alone. This figure reminds me of the many recent times he has had to sit down to catch his breath, or just to conserve his energy. I put my arms around him, touching and holding him, making sure that he knows that I am always right there with him, keeping him safe. I want him to know the vows I took when we got married were never taken lightly, and I will be there with him in sickness and health, until death steals him from our lives. I feel that this figure will remind him of my promise to be with him every step of his final journey, never letting him forget how much I love hime, and how grateful I am to still have him, no matter what time we have left. "You and me" will go into the display case, right next to the Anniversary, Grandmother, Grandfather, Mother and Son, Father and Son, and my favorite, the one he gave me for an earlier anniversary, Together. This is only a small list of the many Willow Tree figures I have arranged in my display case. Each of the Willow Tree figures is extremely special to me. After my husband's death, which is inevitable at this time, I will be able to feel his presence every time I look at our lives told through our Willow Tree figures. So I have now started giving them to my children and grandchildren for special occasions, so they may look upon their figures and remember the part of their life that it represents, hopefully with the pride and awe I feel every time I look at mine.

Friends and family gave us Cherish, Heart of Gold, and Keepsake to represent his life and how we feel about him. However, I always felt sad that my husband was not represented. I wrote to you to request a pregnant woman with a man touching her stomach. I just found it in the store yesterday! I bought the following pieces: Anniversary, Brother and Sister, Heart of Gold, Je t'aime, and Together this year for Christmas for my family. I did not do it to celebrate a significant event of any sort. I was in the Hallmark store and loved the brown tone of the figures -my mother is Dutch - blond hair and blue eyes, my father is African-American and Native American, and my biological sister and I are mixed. We have adopted two other kids who have become our family, and my biological sister now has a child. These pieces showed our family, various ages and colors, even ethnicities, and those pieces captured us where we are now. Who knows if my sister will have more kids or I'll have a family of my own, but these figures capture us where we are now and hold us in this moment in time, celebrating our growth thus far and looking forward to the future growth and love to be brought into our lives. Thank you for brown tones and various figures to choose from that reflect our lives.

The love of my life and I met when we were 14 years old in high school. Both of us were afraid to tell the other we liked each other. We met 20 years later and fell madly in love and are now engaged to be married. When we moved in together we un-boxed things from his old house with his ex wife. There was the statue "Together". My fiance told me his ex told him to throw it out because it had blonde hair not black like hers. Well he held onto it and it is pretty amazing how dead on it looks like us. I have the exact hair as in your artwork. the coloring, the waves, length, everything. Plus, I have slways worn white floor length dresses. My fiance has always imagined me in white since we were kids. He told me. I said to him, "That's because you are supposed to. I will be your bride one day wearing a long white dress." He was shocked and got chills. He said, "That's it! That's why I've always seen you in my mind in a white dress! We then bought "Promise" for ourselves and have been collecting ever since. Finding "Together" was meant to be for us. Purchasing "Promise" was giving our word to each other that we would always be together, and nothing is more perfect than that to me.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to find one like this as a cake topper, which is only partially disappointing considering the other one I had been ogling Is a cake topper (YAY!). I can already tell I'm going to be an avid collector of these beautiful statues, starting with the Promise cake topper.

A few years after my divorce i was invited to my friends' wedding. i went out to purchase a gift and found the Willow Tree Together. it was beautiful, i cried standing in the store and knew i had to buy it. i wrapped it and went to the wedding, placing the gift on the table. i couldn't stop thinking about it, how he held her. How i longed for a love so gentle and kind. Of course with the beauty of the wedding i was very emotional. After dinner it was time to leave. I went to the gift table and took back my gift! I brought it home and couldn't put it on display, so it sat under the bed for a long time. This Christmas, our first Christmas, my wonderful boyfriend bought me a Willow Tree, Together. He said he bought it because he liked the way the man held her. It reminded him of us.

I have seen the figures in stores, but have never really been interested in them. The first Willow Tree I recieved was from my husband, "Together." I thought it was beautiful. It really holds a spot in my heart. I am a surrogate mother. The parents saw my "Together" figure on top of my mantel. They gave me the "Cherish" figure right before the birth of the twins. It too is very special to me. I just wanted to thank the creator of Willow Tree for coming up with such a great idea that can hold so many memories in just one tiny figure. I look at my figures, and remember the days they were given to me, as well as many great memories I have had. People visit my house, see the figures, and I get to share my stories with everyone. Thank you again.

I met up with my high school friend whom I hadn't seen in over 20 years. He had just gotten divorced from a woman. They were given "Together" for an anniversary present and she stuffed it in a box in the closet. She gave it to him in the divorce. When he pulled it out he told me the story and said "We can get rid of it." I said, "No way! It looks just like you and me I love it!" We kept it. I was in a severe car accident and could barely walk. He carried me everywhere for the first two years of our relationship. Then on Christmas morning he asked me to marry him. We then purchased "Embrace" and it sits on our coffee table. It also looks exactly like him and me, the hair color, they way we wear our hair and I am known for always wearing long white dresses all the time! We want "Promise" as our wedding cake topper. It symbolizes our love and how we feel about each other every day. They are such wonderful pieces of artwork to look at and remind us we are soul mates. Thank you so much for your beautiful work and how it makes us feel.

I got my first piece "Together" on my wedding day, which also happened to be our 13 year anniversary at that time. I thought the description of the piece was beautiful. Then one year later my father-in-law bought us "Anniversary". Since then we search every store that sells Willow Tree for your husband and wife pieces. We have all four pieces and look forward to more to come. They hold a special place in our hearts.

My first Willow tree was Mother and Daughter, bought for me as a Christmas gift, from my mother, about 2 years ago. A few weeks before my wedding on Oct. 22nd, 2011, my mother and I were eating at a local restaurant that sells these beautiful statues and I commented on how much I had enjoyed the one she bought me a few years ago. While browsing the restuarants selection, I saw "Together" and told my mother how I would like to add it to my collection and how it would be a perfect wedding gift. Lo and behold, my mother presented me with it on my wedding day, just before she walked me down the isle! It is all the more special because my mother, who has stage 4 breast cancer and is terminal gave it to me! Everytime I look at it I will forever be reminded not only of my special day but my beautiful mother.

Some years ago my husband and I were on holiday. I saw the figurine with two people and I bought it for our wedding day. After a while I found a store in my own town which have these nice things, and I bought myself the Angel of Freedom. Perhaps a year later I was visiting my half sister, who I met when we both had grown up. I got a present from her. The present was the Angel of Love. We had not met for several years, and the gift filled my heart. Later I bought a present for a friend who had a baby. I had to buy two babies in one box, and I only gave one baby to my friend and keep the other for myself. My husband and I have been married for a long time and I wish us to be old together, so I bought the old man and wife. Today I got a gift from my daughter, a birthday present, the Angel of Caring. She said that I should read the text in the paper because that was me. I was so happy. Then she asked if she could ask me a question about the baby piece, and I said of course. Is the baby my little sister who was dead when she was born, she asked. I had never thought in this way, but it got me to thinking. When I look at all my pieces I feel very calm, and they give me so much good energy. With love Mona-Lisa

I absolutely fell in love with Willow Tree about five years ago. Something about every piece just touches my heart. I started buying them as gifts for people close to me, hoping they would realize how much I loved the pieces, but no one ever gifted them to me. Anyway, three years ago, I met a wonderful man who caught the clue. Our first Christmas together he gave me the Together piece. I met his family that year, and each had a piece to give me as well. Then my birthday came and I received another--and then it stopped. Two days ago, December 11,2010, this wonderful man and I married. Before the ceremony I was handed a gift sent by him--it is the Je t'aime piece. I love it and it was such an appropriate gift for me on that day. That piece will always be the most special to me; however, I just love all the pieces. The other most precious to me is the Hope piece, because my three year old daughter has many medical issues. My husband gave that piece to me before my daughters first surgery. These pieces mean the world to me and I hope to keep collecting them. Thank you for just beautiful art that absolutely tugs at the heart!
