"I like working with patterning and pierced metal. The wreath has always been a symbol of hospitality and welcome, and this wreath is kind of decorative—it's light and lacy and feminine. The sentiment is light-hearted... It's a little endearment; a way to say thank you, or let someone know she's special."

“Calla lilies are a fresh surprise – uplifting in shape; invigorating in color. I wanted to express their vibrancy with a gradation of color that builds, starting as limey green, morphing to beautiful coral, tinged with wine. And calla lilies also have a long blooming season… So the qualities of this flower represent supportive, constant friendship. The kind of friend who stays by our side, lifting our spirits through the best and the worst.”

I had bought one dozen yellow artificial roses to put by my parents' grave. I did not go to their grave for a long time and had these dozen yellow artificial roses for awhile. I was reading articles about Guardian Angels and it occurred to me that I don't know if my parents were happy in Heaven. So I prayed to my Guardian Angel to give me a sign that my parents are happy in Heaven. Then one day my sister and I went to our parents' grave and I put the dozen yellow artificial roses by their graves. Within 48 hours I was working and I noticed that there were one dozen yellow fresh roses in a bucket and this is the first time that I ever saw yellow roses there. It made me so happy and I know that this was the sign from my Guardian Angel that my parents were happy in Heaven. I purchased the piece #27462 Good Cheer! to remind me of the sign that I received from my Guardian Angel!Read More >

I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in January 2017. I had surgery in February 2017 and upon returning home from the hospital, my very good friend, Erin, who lives in California, sent me "Good Cheer!" Not only did her kind gesture lift me up but the sentiment of optimism that this figurine embodies helped make my recovery that much smoother. Bonus part about this figurine is that yellow is my favorite color! Every time I look at her, I am reminded that she and all of my supporters are wishing me "... sunny days of happiness."Read More >

The figurine has a lovely bouquet of yellow roses. Our second daughter, Karen, enjoyed yellow tulips. She passed in August 2015 due to a brain aneurysm, related to a genetic syndrome that our family has. We are using this figurine as a representative for our lovely daughter. She had been a 911 operator at Portland Bureau of Emergency Communications (BOEC). During her time at Portland 911, Karen developed a Thankfulness project to combat the tendency to focus on all the bad things that come through the 911 system. Her project, noting 3 things daily on her Facebook post that she was thankful for, had a great impact upon the whole department. The department still has a bulletin board up, a Thankfulness board, for keeping track of things that the department staff does for one another. That board has Karen's last Facebook post the day that she died. The BOEC have an annual awards ceremony to acknowledge the significant actions of 911 staff. Karen was the employee of the year/Telecommunicator of the year for 2013 which she received at the April of 2014 ceremony. At the 2016 ceremony, the BOEC staff created a new award because they realized that they needed the kind of personal input of helpfulness to one another that Karen has exemplified. So they invited us to come in April of 2016 as they made the first award of the "Champ" Award. We have maintained connections with the BOEC staff and apparently have a standing invite to the awards ceremony. The Good Cheer figurine is a very nice visual reminder of the beautiful person that our daughter Karen was and the beauty she helped create in a very stressful situation of the 911/BOEC department for the city of Portland.Read More >

I love the piece Good Cheer. I am a nurse in a transplant unit and this was given to one of my patients. Because they can not receive flowers in this unit it was such a thoughtful and cheerful gift. It brings a smile to my face and hers!Read More >

We have a blended family of five grown daughter's. Kelly and Christopher got married November 2014. Kelly loves Sunflowers and had sunflowers at their I DO BBQ and at their wedding. Sunflowers remind me of Kelly and her sunny personality and wonderful heart and soul. This year, in honor of THEIR anniversary she gave me a present. A wonderful good cheer sunflower piece. When I look at it I smile and think of that lovely day and Kelly and Christopher's love, not only for each other but our wonderful blended family. I am truly blessed.Read More >

I have three Willow Tree figurines set up on a table in my living room. I have the Father and Daughter figurine, the Mother and Daughter figurine and the Good Cheer figurine. They represent my father, who passed away in 1989, my mother who just passed away in May and of course this "little girl" who misses them every day. The Good Cheer figurine with her bouquet of yellow roses signifies my mother and father's love of yellow roses. My mother carried yellow roses in her wedding to my father and my father always sent her yellow roses for special occasions and just because! Thank you for making all the beautiful figurines that represent so many things for so many people.Read More >

I love yellow and this piece is like a beautiful ray of sunshine; and it does just what it is meant to do - it brings me sunny days of happiness. I have displayed it on a pretty pewter tray with a six inch Luminara candle surrounded by a glass cylinder and candle ring in gentle shades of green, with Good Cheer! sitting in front of this candle and between two Luminara three inch candles -- all on a pretty doily. The candles come on and off by a timer and what a warm, gentle and peaceful addition to our room, both in the day time and the evening hours. It surely was the perfect piece for a gal who just loves yellow and loves sunny days all year long. It has made a perfect display and a perfect way of bringing a beautiful splash of yellow in to my world. thank you! . . . I'm smiling!!Read More >
