“This piece is all about the apple. I wanted it to symbolize many things ... to stand out, be large, delicious, shiny. Obviously, it’s a symbol for teacher appreciation — but the apple is also just a beautiful fruit! A metaphor for good health, for wisdom, for someone chosen for something big ... for a special person who always gives the best of her or himself, and makes a difference in the lives of others. I like that this piece is so open — I’ll be interested to read how others interpret it.”
You make the world a better placesomething special$27.00Description
“The gesture of something special is one of protection and caring for something precious... our children, our earth, our natural resources. I see it as a hopeful piece about possibilities… about every child, doing his or her share.
“The rock is etched with words and images. The puzzle pieces allude to how we are all inextricably linked together… they’re also symbols of children with autism. 'special' can mean many things—the special responsibility to care for our planet—and to nurture ALL our children to care for their future. 'Something' can be interpreted on many levels. The little sprout is an unknown. What’s it going to become? And the boy is a sprout too… what’s he going to become? He could represent hope for the future… This piece could be a symbol of newness and beginnings.
“For many years we’ve wanted to experiment with environmentally friendly packaging that wouldn’t increase breakage. We’re excited to try it with the packaging of something special. The inner shell is made from biodegradable paper pulp, so now both shell and box can be easily recycled”

“I like to walk in the tangles of my garden and discover little jewels that pop up or volunteer through the weeds. Usually not planned or cultivated, these colorful surprises never fail to make me smile. Like a spur-of-the-moment visit from a good friend who makes me laugh, these spontaneous happenings, however simple, can bring so much joy.”

“Gold is used on this piece to represent something precious and valuable — the intangible gift of generosity. The gold box is perhaps a metaphor for the most generous gift we can offer — the time we give to others. This piece could be for people who have a spirit of selflessness, or whose career warrants this. I think it could be a unique way to say thank you to a volunteer or caregiver — someone who works tirelessly for little monetary reward. The sentiment ‘Generosity is your shining gift’ could mean the giver is returning, and recognizing, the value of one’s generosity.”
Appreciating your kindnessThank You Metal-edged Ornament$12.00Description
Small plaque ornaments trimmed with metal lace and adorned with a sprinkling of glitter. A sentiment is printed in elegant script on the back, so that both sides are lovely to view. For the holidays, but equally enjoyed as a birthday, graduation, confirmation, or anniversary gift … in celebration of any occasion.
So appreciative of all you do!
“'Thank You' is an expression we use daily… from an impersonal quick comment… to a more heart-felt appreciation of support from parents, family, friends, teachers, volunteers. I hope this piece can be used for all those circumstances when you want to say 'Thank You'...
“The gesture of the figure, leaning forward, is an offer of gratitude and hospitality. The flowers are classic, timeless peonies, which release a beautiful fragrance, and whose lifecycle can span generations.”

I am a Math Specialist that works with many different students per day. Yesterday, a wonderful, sweet, intelligent boy name Vincent (my brother's name) brought me the Thank You Willow tree gift! Besides the fact that this gift showed me how appreciative he was of all my help, it held a deeper meaning for me too! The woman is holding roses. Fifteen years ago, I lost my mother, Rose, and I just love seeing roses because I miss her so much! This was an added touch to an already beautiful gift. It made me smile bightly! I decided t tell him the special meaning for me behind the roses and he gave me a great big hug. WOW! My month was made! Thank you Vincent Stallone for this very, very SPECIAL gift! My sister and her husband purchased this for me while my sister is going through serious illness. I did what any sister would do and that is to be at her side for what ever she needs. She is still very sick but each day we see a small step to hopefully a full recovery.Read More >

A gift from a patient. As a RN we spend countless hours giving of ourselves to help others. I love my job and cherish every second hovering over new mothers and their precious newborns. It's hard to express how this touched my heart and made my whole month! She is proudly on display to remind me that even if I think I'm not doing anything...I'm really changing someone's life.Read More >

I have been collecting Willow Tree figurines for over a decade. I love them all and it is too difficult to choose a favorite. You have a way of capturing moments and memories in people's hearts without knowing them. It is a gift. When I look at each figurine it brings back a special memory for each. My "Promise" cake topper, reminds me of my beautiful destination wedding, how everyone looked and felt, and the wonderful toasts given that day. My "Nativity Set" reminds me of all of the wonderful years of Christmas memories. My family and I share a number of traditions from decorating the tree/house together, meals, creating Christmas ornaments. If I had to choose, it would be my "Thank You" figurine. It was my first Willow Tree figurine. I received it as a gift from my supervisor for my birthday as a token of her appreciation for all of my hard work. I pride myself in being a very good/hard worker and this is a constant reminder of that and this type of work can be rewarded. This started my hundreds of figurines collection. Thank you for continuing to develop these. They bring joy to many peoples lives.Read More >

I only have two pieces but the one that means the most to me is Thank you So appreciative of all you do! When I left my last position in the company that I work for (getting a promotion) every one was tearful, we had a potluck and then my boss, my wonderful boss leaves this and a card on my desk. In her card she wrote how I had changed so much for the department and gave her a new meaning of being a leader instead of just a boss. I have my figure sitting at my new desk and I tear up when I think about her and everything we went through. I have never been thanked in such a memorable way and I will never forget because of my willow tree figure.Read More >

My favorite is Thank You! It was giving to me in 2000 from a Breast Cancer Survivor patient! I work in a Surgical Oncolgy surgeons office and are with the patients when they first learn that they have cancer after surgical biopsies, I council and prepare patients for major surgery and see them after surgery for drain care and wound care. After her surgery and chemotherapy a patient presented me with this beautiful willow figurine which I had never seen before,it means so much to me and every time I look at it positioned on the top shelf of my lighted curio cabinet , I smile and think of how by being kind and seeing someone through such a difficult time can be so special by receiving a simple figurine. I now give willow tree figurines for special moments or to just show I care to special people in my life! I receive many in return, I have over 25 willow tree figurines and whole nativity set I have received over the years. The willow you have created are so unique and so special ,I thank you so much for creating these, you can't imagine what impact you make on so many lives by the figurines you create With my sincere Thanks, MichelleRead More >

My husband to be was having chest pains and we took him to the hospital. They had to do by pass surgery on him. While he was in the operating room, his two chiledren and father were there with me. I held them and prayed with them and tried to comfort them. WWhen he got out they left for a bit and came back with the thank you Angel and a card that made me cry. This was the first time I felt close to these two wonderful girls and they have blessed my life ever since. This started my collection and they have added to it as well. Two days ago my son married the most wonderful girl! I have thought of her as my daughter during their entire relationship. For her dream wedding, she chose a peony theme. She worked for months on the silk centerpieces and other decor. She designed and printed her programs, seating cards, signs, etc. I was a willing helper. I was also the answerer of questions, the baker of cookies, and a member of the set-up and clean-up crew. The morning after the wedding, my new daughter gave me the "Thank You" figure holding the bouquet of peonies. She accompanied it with a lovely, heartfelt note. This piece has a place of honor in my home. Each time I look at it, I will remember our special times together planning for a magical wedding day!Read More >

My Thank You came from a dear student of four years. I have gratefully served as her advisement teacher for four years. She and I have grown together. And as I have watched her become a responsible young lady, guiding her and helping her think through decisions she has made, has made me very proud. Her expression of thanks has made realize how thankful I am that she chose me to be a class advisor and friend.Read More >

At a church meeting I became a prayer partner with a woman who wanted to read the Bible through. I gave her the Daily Bible reading book I used the previous year. To my surprise she brought me a card and Thank You Angel as a gift to show appreciation for the loan of the book. The angel has a bouquet of flowers in her hands. I decided to place her, my prayer and heart angels together to remind me to continue to share love daily. They became a wonderful Christmas centerpiece.Read More >

I received this today from a woman I do not know. Her name is Stacy. She was on the bike path and fell off her bike and injured her arm. She parked her car a couple miles away and she and her friends did not know the area. Because she had a bike I offered to take her to the e.r. and asked her friends to walk her bike back and meet us there. She was treated promptly, had fractured her forearm, but otherwise was fine. One of the girls in the group I knew (from working together). She must have given her my address because this arrived yesterday, with a wonderful note. I actually cried when I got it. I have a collection of 17 now. She did not have to do that. Anyone would have stopped and offered help. It's the humane thing to do. She was so appreciative`. It really was no trouble and so good to help someone in need. This is a fine young woman, who expresses herself well and I'm happy to have met her.Read More >
