My mum was known to everybody throughout the family as 'Aunty Teapot' as all she ever used to sing to the little ones was the 'I'm a little Teapot' Nursery Rhyme! On my mum's first anniversary of her passing my best friend bought me this - I named her Vivian (My mum's name) and she takes top place among all my other Willow Tree Angels and figurines. R.I.P. My brother was diagnosed with double lung cancer 6 months after my mother suddenly passed away and he passed away 12 months after her passing. He always looked forward to my cooking and so every time I visited him, I would bring a favorite dish of his. His appetite and taste for foods became very unpredictable as he progressively worsened and eventually he started to request specific dishes which I lovingly prepared for him. Two days before his passing he presented me with "Angel of the Kitchen". Unfortunately he was too weak to sign the little card that came with it but every time I look at that angel, it reminds me of him and how much he loved my cooking. Thank you for creating this angel. I couldn't have asked for a more fitting keepsake of my beloved brother.

My mom loved tea. To her, it was a comfort and a way to bring loved ones together. When she died recently, our whole family was gathered around, holding her hands until she breathed for the last time. In the tears, we sat at the table for another pot of tea. The smell, the warmth, the comfort--it was our way to honor her legacy in some small way that day. A month or so later, my aunt sent the "Angel of the Kitchen" figurine to me at university, where it now stands on my desk, reminding me what a giving, hospitable, loving person my mom was, and urging me to make a cup of tea for someone--it is a small gesture that can make all the difference in their day.
